Established in 1963, we are not just a club; we are a vibrant community dedicated to the promotion and advancement of the game of Lawn Bowls. Nestled within one of Pretoria's most active sports clubs, alongside Cricket, Soccer, Hockey, Squash, and Running, our Bowls Club stands out as a beacon of camaraderie and sporting prowess.

With a robust membership of 96 enthusiasts, we pride ourselves on being a sub-section of a dynamic sports network. Our facilities include two top-class bowling greens and a spacious, well-equipped clubhouse that has undergone an upgrade in 2011, ensuring it's always at the forefront of comfort and style.

Open on Wednesdays and Fridays from 13:30 till late, our club hosts a Tabs In session every Saturday starting at 13:00 (May to September) and 13:30 for 14:00 (October to May). Embrace the elegance of the sport by donning your club attire or plain whites, mandatory on Saturdays. Sunday morning Tabs In starts at 08:30 for a leisurely 09:00 kick-off. On Wednesdays and Fridays, we welcome members for practice or social sessions, where smart casual sports clothes are the norm, except for our Saturday social games where formality rules with bowling shoes being a must.

As an affiliated member of Bowls Gauteng North, we take pride in our league teams, with men competing in Divisions 1, 2, 3, and 4, while the ladies grace Division 1 with two formidable teams. Our pub, the heartbeat of post-game celebrations, is open on the same days, ensuring every victory is toasted in style.

We extend a warm invitation to prospective members to visit us and witness the thriving spirit of our club. Not only are we financially stable, but our membership fees are amongst the lowest in Pretoria, offering unbeatable value for our exceptional facilities.

Speaking of facilities, our upgraded clubhouse boasts one of the friendliest bars in town. The central green is floodlit, providing an enchanting ambiance for evening games. Our hall, with a capacity of 80 people, is perfect for club functions and is available for rent to the public, turning every celebration into an unforgettable event. Continue on the N4 towards Pretoria. In Pretoria, turn left into Gordon Road. Gordon Road becomes Jan Shoba (previously Duncan). At Brooklyn Circle, turn right into Middel Street. Middel Street becomes George Storrar Drive. Turn right into Totius Street. The club is on your left.

Note: There are two bowling clubs in Totius street: Harlequins and Groenkloof.

Open for play on Tuesday mornings, Wednesday afternoons, Thursday mornings, Saturday mornings and afternoons as well as Sundays.
